Here are 10 ways to recycle your old gadgets!

Whilst the Market W3’s #Reduce and #Recycle Hub takes a break until February, we have come up with a list of places in #W3 and close to W3 where you can recycle your old electrical gadgets here are few options for you to do this.

  1. Ask family and friends if they would like your unwanted electricals – it could be just what they are looking for!
  2. Pass on working laptops or tablets, local schools, colleges and universities can often rehome to students in need. Visit the Ealing Councils website to get contact details of your nearest https://www.ealing.gov.uk/

  4. Donate small ‘working‘ electrical items to the great charity shops in our area that accept electric equipment:
  5. Give away old but working gadgets through local Facebook groups like Acton Reduce and Recycle and Ealing Reduce and Recycle. Some of these groups allow you to charge a small amount too.
  6. Keep your rehoming local by using Gumtree, Next Door or Freecycle Ealing.
  7. Music Magpie and other similar websites where you can trade in your unwanted tech to make extra cash! Who doesn’t need that right now!!?
  8. Use Ebay to sell your old but working gadgets yourself.
