Saturday Market W3 runs various events in its Saturday market including the monthly Reduce and Recycle Hub. Our partners also run other events around Acton to promote our activities so please make a note of the events and come along.

April

  • Saturday 27th April, Hanwell Electrical Repair, Hanwell Community Centre, Westcott Crescent, W7 1PD. Book and bring along small electricals along on Saturday 27 April. Appointments available between 1pm-4.20pm where the repair team will have a look and hopefully bring it back to working order. Booking essential.
  • Saturday 27 April, The Hammersmith Mending Circle, Livat Centre, Kings Street, Hammersmith. From 1pm – 4pm. Great clothes repair event run by Marisol from La Modista. Please bring 1 item of clothing to practice with. ** Sewing machine available for fixing seams and suitable mends.
  • Monday 29 April: Mend and Natter, The Ealing Project, 1 High Street, Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre, London W5 5DB.  From 7.30 pm until 9 pm. We ask for a small donation of £3 to cover costs. ** Sewing machine available for fixing seams and suitable mends.

  • Saturday, 4 May: Reduce and Recycle Hub, Acton Market 10am -3 pm. At Acton Market, The Mount, Acton. With all our regular partners
  • Saturday 18 May, Chiswick Repair Cafe, Christ Church Turnham Green, Town Hall Ave, Chiswick, London W4 5DT. Bring your broken or worn items and their volunteer repairers will help them to try mend you things and teach repair skills.   • Tuesday 21 May: Ealing Repair Cafe Patch, Darn and Natter, Northfields Community Library, 255A Northfield Ave, London W5 4UA. From 5.30 until 6.45 pm.
  • Wednesday 22 May: Ealing Repair Cafe Mend and Natter at ActOne, 2 pm- 4 pm, ActOne Café, 119 – 121 High Street, Acton, W3 6NA, We ask you to support the ActOne café by buying refreshments from the café and not bringing from outside and also a small donation, £3 for the session to cover costs of equipment and expenses.** Sewing machine available for fixing seams and suitable mends.
