Reduce and Recycle hub at Acton Market

June Reduce and Recycle hub in Acton

Reduce and Recycle hub is returning to Acton Market on Saturday 1 June. We have some great organisations joining us, so please pop along and lets together reduce, reuse and recycle in Acton. Our hub aims is to encourage people to reduce waste and recycle more in Acton and surrounding areas. We invite along some great organisations and volunteers involved in reducing, recycling and reusing items. The Reduce and Recycle hub was set up by Action West London who won a Lottery grant from their Climate Action fund in 2021. The hub runs monthly on the first Saturday of the month. For full list of dates see Reduce and Recycle events

CUT THE CRAP Waste Exhibition

Cut the crap Exhibition at ActOne

ActForEaling CUT THE CRAP display is a pop-up exhibition that will be touring the seven towns of Ealing, starting at the café lounge of ActOne cinema in Acton High Street until Saturday 25th May. Then it moves to St Mary’s Church on the Mount, by Acton Market. CUT THE CRAP focus is on reducing waste and the huge damage it does to the environment, nature, wildlife and us.

Inspired to take action on waste, Enid Barron (affectionately known as ‘Eco Granny’ and a stalwart member of ActForEaling) has created CUT THE CRAP, her response to the eyewatering amounts of rubbish we generate in the UK.
