Reduce and Recycle Hub in the news

We have been making news recently with our Reduce and Recycle Hub. Now coming up to our 6th Hub, we have been featured in, Ealing Councils award winning magazine ‘Around Ealing’ , in the ‘Ealing News’ online News publication and we have just had a piece covering us in Acton W3 community forums news section. Great to get our hub out there and get more people involved in reducing waste and recycling more.

Here we are in Around Ealing “Market Leaders at Reduce and Recycle Hub

“We want to encourage residents to think about what they consume, and start holding on to items for as longer, reduce how much they waste, reuse items more; and, when they no longer need them, recycle them. We all have a role to play to help save the planet’s natural resources.” Mary Horesh, Acton Market’s community circular economy manager

Community initiatives to encourage more recycling in the area appear to be gaining momentum with more people keen to reduce waste, reuse and recycle. Last Saturday’s (4 March) Market Reduce and Recycle Hub saw the Mount in the centre of Acton alive with activity as lots of organisations and businesses were there to offer help and advice on reducing carbon foot print.
