October Reduce and Recycle hub and School Uniform Swap in Acton

Reduce and Recycle hub is at Acton Market on Saturday 5th October. We have some great organisations joining us, so please pop along and lets together reduce, reuse and recycle in Acton. Come along and be inspired to reduce the waste you create, mend your clothing items so you can wear them for longer, buy upcycled items and if you no longer need items, come and recycle those listed below.

Our hub wants to encourage people to reduce waste and recycle more in Acton and surrounding areas. We invite along some great organisations and volunteers tackling waste reduction and encouraging residents to extend the lifespan of existing items, avoid unnecessary purchases, recycle clothes, small electrical items, and books. With the aim to create a sustainable future for Acton, Ealing and beyond.

The Reduce and Recycle hub was set up by Action West London who won a Lottery grant from their Climate Action fund in 2021. In 2024, Ealing Council, extend the hubs activity to early 2025. The hub runs monthly on the first Saturday of the month. For full list of dates see Reduce and Recycle events
