Acton Reduce and Recycle hub is relocating to inside St Mary’s Church Acton due to gusts of high winds on Saturday 7 December from 11 am to 3.30 pm.
The Christmas Reduce and Recycle hub is having a special Community Christmas event. Acton Reduce and Recycle hub wants you to make a difference this Christmas by helping others.
Christmas holidays are a great time to relax, recharge and enjoy ourselves. However, are you a frustrated by the waste created, the unwanted gifts, food that goes to waste and mountains of wrapping paper that end up in the bin?
Small changes can make all the difference in reducing our environmental footprint. So come along and be inspired by the great local organisations and volunteers that come to the hub to tackle waste reduction and encourage residents to extend the lifespan of existing items, avoid unnecessary purchases, recycle clothes, small electrical items, and books. With the aim to create a sustainable future for Acton, Ealing and beyond.
The Reduce and Recycle hub was set up by Action West London who won a Lottery grant from their Climate Action fund in 2021. In 2024, Ealing Council, funding extended the hubs activity to early 2025. The hub runs monthly on the first Saturday of the month. For full list of dates see Reduce and Recycle events.
This Christmas, give back and embrace sustainability with the Acton Market Reduce and Recycle Hub!
